A short race with a big reputation!
The 49th Eirgrid Dunboyne 4 Mile Road Race & Fun Run, in partnership with Athletics Ireland, takes place on Sunday 25th March 2018 at 3pm. It is a landmark event on the Irish road racing calendar, attracting large entries every year. The course offers great potential for athletes to target a fast time, gives first time participants a great introduction to the 4 mile distance, and also allows supporters to provide plenty of encouragement along the way as it goes through Dunboyne village 3 times. At 4 miles, this is also an ideal event for anyone new to fitness, walking or running, as the emphasis is on a fun day out in a friendly and safe environment.

Thank You
Dunboyne AC would like to thank our title sponsor again this year, Eirgrid. We would also like to thank in advance the great support we always get from our local business community, which is crucial to the success of the race. The smooth organisation of the race is dependent on a huge level of commitment and support from the local Civil Defence, An Garda Síochána, the race organising committee, the fantastic staff of Dunboyne community centre who provide us with this facility every year and the members and friends of Dunboyne AC who volunteer a huge amount of time to prepare and steward the course, take race entries, complete results, video the race and provide refreshments and musical entertainment.
