John O’Malley and Annemarie Sheehan were representing Dunboyne at Lakeshore Striders’ annual 10k road race held in good conditions close to Blessington on Saturday morning. Lakeshore Striders donate all the profits from this race to a chosen charity every year, this year it was run in aid of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Both showed no ill effects of their marathon mileage clocking respectable times for themselves, John with a 44:16 and Annemarie with a PB of 54:06.
