National XC Championships – Location and Parking Information

Dunboyne AC Welcomes all Participants, spectators and officials to the National Novice and Juvenile Uneven Ages Cross Country Championships taking place at the Cow Park course, Dunboyne on Sunday December 15th.

Please make a note of the information below in regard to the event location and parking information to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience on the day.

Event Location

All races will take place on the Cow Park Course, Clonee Road, Dunboyne.
Entrance is next door to Clonee Sawmills (D15 NX56)

Number collection will be in the White check in Tent which is onsite in Cow Park. This is where results will be posted also.

Catering and Toilets are onsite in Cow Park.

There will be NO vehicle access into Cow Park itself on the day, First Aid and Supplier Vehicles are the exception.

Club Tents: Those dropping off club Tents will be permitted to park briefly outside Cow Park and unload. The Area for Club Tents is just inside the Gate on the right to the Venue.

Coach Parking: Located in St.Peters College, which is just before Dunboyne Village, it is a 5-10 min Walk to the course.



IMPORTANT: Strictly NO PARKING, STOPPING or DROP OFF from vehicles at the entrance or on the approach roads.

All attendees must follow the parking directions described in the next section.

Parking Directions and Locations

For Juvenile races: Attendees are advised to Park (no charge) at M3 Parkway (A86 DK28) and use shuttle buses.
Shuttle buses will run every 5 minutes from 9AM to 4PM – Journey time approx 10 – 15 mins.

Please follow the Directional Signage and Digital Signage to M3 Parkway for Shuttle Bus service to the course.

Alternative Parking is available at Dunboyne Train Station (A86 HK07)
All Day Parking Fee of €3.50 applies.
Pay by text or in advance through the Apcoa Parking Website or app.
Dunboyne Train Station is approx. 800 metres from Cow Park entrance.

For Novice Races: Attendees are advised to use Dunboyne AC Car park and local school car parks (St Peter’s College) as these will be available later in the day only.

NO PARKING, STOPPING OR DROP OFF from vehicles at Cow Park entrance or approach roads – Pedestrian Access Only.

Please take direction from members of An Gardai and Traffic Stewards.

Plan your journey and ARRIVE EARLY TO ALLOW FOR TIME FOR TRAFFIC AND PARKING.
