Notice to parents of competing athletes re All Irelands this Sunday

Re: All Irelands Uneven ages National Cross Country Championships

Dear Parents,

This Sunday is the big Cross Country Race of the year for your child. Below are all the details you need. Unfortunately we didn’t generate enough of an interest from the travelling numbers to justify the expense of a bus. Its a pity because the bus journey down and back is great for the kids to take their mind away from the race, reduce the nerves and have some bonding time together.

We plan to meet at the clubhouse for 07:15 Sunday December 6th and be leaving by 07:30. The journey is approximately 2hr 15min and the destination is ST.AUGUSTINE’S COLLEGE, DUNGARVAN and the GPS link is below. We must be there by 10AM in order to arrive in time to walk the course, warm up, race, win, get photo’s and collect medals. 🙂

Best of luck on the day to all Athletes. This is a huge deal for them. It is important for them to eat, sleep and drink (water) well this week prior to the race and they should have comfort knowing that they are well prepared for this race as this is what they have worked for since late summer.

Any questions please let me know.

Keith.
