The field was fearsome but fair play to the four guys who turned out fielding a strong team for Dunboyne AC. First in for the club was the stalwart Phelim Glynn who hung in with the leading group throughout the long gruelling laps and showed his great form to come in within the top ten finishers. Next in for the club was Gerry O’Reilly who showed a significant improvement from last weeks’ Novices to hold off his competitors lap after lap. Well done Gerry.

Despite a chest infection in recent weeks Warren McIntyre was determined not to miss this masters race and ran excellently, holding place steadily throughout to finish well up the field. Ray Mitchell, despite talk of apple tart earlier in the day ran a very strong race, holding steady throughout the laps and bringing in the final place for the Dunboyne AC Masters team.

The exact results aren’t available right at this time but we will them add to this post as soon as they’re in. Well done to the four of you in what looked like a gruelling race, with very stiff competition.

NEWS JUST IN: Phelim has taken gold in his category and Gerry has bronze, well done guys!
