In the run up to Rotterdam, Annemarie Sheehan headed west on Saturday for the Kinvara Half Marathon. The weather on the way down suggested a perfect day for running but the Burren had other ideas and on the day the runners had strong winds, lashing rain and glorious sunshine. Rolling roads were the order of the day placed between a few long drags and a couple of sharp inclines! Annemarie was not deterred by either the terrain or the conditions and she ran a smart race to come in under the 2 hours, a sign that the hard work is paying off. Well done Annemarie.
