Report with thanks to Elaine Ryan. Our guys attended the Ferrybank AC track & field in Waterford sun 9th April. Kala, Dylan and Holly Ryan won heats in sprints & Aoife McCormack was 4th in sprint heats with holly finishing 4th Dylan 2nd & Kayla 5th. In 700 Aoife led for about 100m then finished 5th & Kayla was 3rd. Dylan in 500m was in 2nd all way then took lead too soon & finished 3rd just losing 2nd place right @ end. Good race. Holly did hurdles & sprints but was 5th in sprint heats & 6th in hurdles. We came home with 4 medals Dylan 2 & holly Ryan 1 getting 2nd in 300m leading right till end but finishing 2nd. She even fell over line & Kayla 3rd.
Next year we plan to attend again and hopefully with a bigger selection from the club.
