This was my first time to organise our Club’s Annual Family Fun Day, and boy it was great fun.
As we all know the weather held off, (after I paid the man himself a few Euros) which was half the battle. After a windy, cool start to the day, the volunteers started to arrive to help me set up. The lads had a great time trying to put up the tent in the middle of the field.
After that the main attractions arrived, to make the fun day seem real. As our main attractions went up, the clouds started getting a little greyer which didn’t look promising but they passed over. In the end it all looked really well, and it was time for a well earned cuppa before everyone starting arriving.
The volunteers started arriving and set up their stalls or man the castles.
The day went really well without any hiccups and everyone who came enjoyed their day.
I would like to thank all of the volunteers (especially Noel for his guidance, and Teresa for all of her help too) who helped me make the Fun Day possible.
Hope to see ya’ll there again next year for a bigger and better Family Fun Day.
Thanks
Michelle
