ATTENTION SENIOR AND FIT4LIFE ATHLETES – Ever fancied dipping your toe into track and field?

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to have a go at Long Jump, try your chances at 60 meters sprint or even give the High Jump a try, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

A non-pressured, fun filled evening with other athletes from Dunboyne and our neighbouring clubs in Meath. It’s the first round of the Meath Inter Club Track and Field competition takes place tomorrow week, Wednesday 24th February in Cushinstown with a 7.15pm start.

The grownups compete alongside our Juveniles (who, let’s face it, have far more experience at this kind of thing!) as it’s an interclub league. It’s the only chance we have to line up alongside our talented juveniles so we should make the most of it!

If you’re interested and want to know more give Keith a call on 086 814 4012. Even better, round up a few friends and make the trip to Cushinstown tomorrow evening.

The programme consists of 60 metre sprints for Under 10, 12, 14, 15, Junior, Senior and Masters.
There are long jump competitions for Under 10 and 12 age groups as well as Junior Senior and Masters and a High Jump competition for under 14 and under 15 only.

If you’re a parent and plan to come with your child, please sign up as an official – you’ll be shown what to do and it’ll be more fun than just hanging around! The club must provide three people and so far we only have one. Please give Keith a call or text if you can do it.
