Phelim Glynn, Kevin Deery, were our senior representatives in the men’s 5 mile XC in Alsaa, conditions on Saturday were wet, windy and we can imagine, very mucky! None of this bothered Phelim who came home in 6th place and 1st in his age category. Kevin followed suit and came in over the line in 35:38. Fit for Life were represented by Pat Ryan who also made light work of the mud to come in over the line in 42:38.
In the women’s 2 mile race another cross country stall worth Dee Fitzsimons was 17th over the line 15:41 coming 1st in her age category. Well done to all.
