Brockagh Burst is one of the winter/spring IMRA league races and our own Kevin Deery lined up on the day to take on this challenging course. The race is described as a perfect Winter League event, relatively short, relatively steep and as sharp as your fitness allows. Love was not the only thing in the air however as conditions changed from clear and dry to sleet and snow as the runners crested the summit. Not put off by this though Kevin completed the 6K, 200m ascent in 31:57 coming home in 24thplace overall. Well done Kevin.
