The 5th annual Carton House 6K Trail Race & Fun Run takes place on Thursday 28th July 2022 at 8pm. This mid-week, summers evening race is hosted in beautiful surroundings providing a stunning course where runners ramble through the prestigious Carton House Estate situated in Maynooth Co. Kildare in very close proximity to Meath & Dublin and also very accessible via M50, M4, etc. In its last running in 2019 pre-Covid the race attracted a large entry representing numerous clubs from all over Leinster and further afield. This race has proved a great success since it began in recent years, with the emphasis on a fun evening in a friendly and safe environment. With Dunboyne AC as your hosts where can you go wrong? The race starts and finishes alongside the lake and beautiful boat house on the main avenue into Carton House. Dunboyne AC owes a sincere gratitude to Carton House Hotel and Golf Club who facilitate the race in this beautiful location.

Prizes: Mens, Ladies, Age Categories and Club Teams. (Teams must be from AAI registered clubs)

Online entry is €20 (plus €1.38 transaction fee) and entry on the night is €25. Entry fee includes postage of race number, a medal for all finishers and post-race refreshments. Participants must be 16 years of age or over to enter. Any profits from the event will go to Dunboyne Athletic Club.
