The annual Cork City Sports was held in Bishopstown on Sunday night, and the field attracted plenty of high quality athletes from Ireland and abroad.
Peter Somba ran in the 3000m race and placed 14th overall in a time of 8:46. Sara Treacy ran the 3K and found Sunday’s national championships were still in the legs as she finished 4th, a little way off her expected time.
