Dougie and Peter in action at the Wexford Half Marathon, Sunday April 17th 2016

Lean and mean Stephen Douglas took a spin to the sunny south east last weekend for the Wexford Half Marathon, where he and the rest of us were expecting good things, and so we got them, a significant PB for Stephen, 1:27:20. Stephen has been hanging out of the coattails of our 1:20 guys in reps with comfort so we have no doubt he’ll hit the low 1:20’s over the summer.

Also making the trip was Peter O’Reilly. Peter’s obviously banished the horrible teenage memories of running the bogeys under the direction of Tom McLoughlin, an experience that left many of us ex Deco’s heads with a hate hate affair with running. Peter had an excellent outing in Wexford, clocking a 1:34:31 on the day.
