Dunboyne 10K Road Race 2023 – Top Ten Things to Know

  1. Race Starts at 12 noon on Sunday March 26th.
  2. Clocks go forward on the night of Saturday 25th so you have one hour less in bed !
  3. Dunboyne Community Centre is NOT being used, this was an error in the earlier race communication; on-day registration, number and t-shirt pickup is at Dunboyne AC Clubhouse (see details and locations below).
  4. If you already have your race number and t-shirt (if ordered) go straight to the Start Area (Old Navan Road) from your arrival area – there are signs posted with directions (see map and distances below).
  5. If you need to pick up your race number, ordered t-shirt or to Register on the day, go first to the Race HQ (Dunboyne AC Clubhouse on Rooske Road), then go to the Start Area on the Old Navan Road. (see map and distances below).

*Registration and number and t-shirt pick-up will be available between 9:30AM and 11:30 AM at the Clubhouse.

  1. Toilet facilities will be provided at the Race Start Area and at the Race HQ.
  2. Transport/Parking

*Only park in the designated car parking areas listed below (follow signs).

*Dunboyne Primary School Car Park
(Station Road, 2km/20-25 min walk to START, 1km/10-15 min walk to RACE HQ)

*St. Peter’s College Car Park
(Mill Farm Road, 2km/20-25 min walk to START, 1.1km/15 min walk to RACE HQ)

*Gaelscoil Thullach na nÓg Car Park
(Rooske Road, 2km/25-30 min walk to START, 0.5km/5 min walk to RACE HQ)

*Race HQ (Dunboyne AC Clubhouse), RACE VOLUNTEER PARKING ONLY (2.5km/30-35 min walk to START).

*Dunboyne Train Station/Car Park (PAY Parking €2/day, pay online through APCOA).
(2.6km/30-35 min walk to START, 1.6km/20-25 min walk to Race HQ).

*70/270 Bus Terminus Public Transport (NOT A CAR PARK).
(1.5km/20-25 min walk to START, 1KM/13-15 min walk to Race HQ).

  1. We Recommend that car users leave baggage in their vehicles (DO NOT leave valuables in your car). Baggage area at Race HQ is primarily intended for those arriving on public transport/foot/bike.
  2. Please obey all instructions from race officials and marshals.
