***Dunboyne AC at Kildare Open 5K, Leixlip, Sunday 20th December***

While some of our more competitive clubmates headed to Bohermeen for the Meath Cross Country Championships, those in search of a pre-Christmas road race and fun-run availed of the Kildare Open 5K in support of our neighbouring athletic clubs; Celbridge, Donadea, Le Cheile and St Coca’s.
On a very pleasant, but somewhat windy day, the Seniors were represented by John Mitchell, Michael Bailey, Morgan McDonagh and Ray Mitchell. Needless to say they tore it up over the 5K distance as you will see from the times below. Great going guys!
Ger Fagan and Jan Rice togged out for Fit4Life. As is the Fit4Life way, both were pleased with their runs, delighted with themselves, and determined to line up more often in 2016. Well done ladies!
