Dunboyne AC at Terenure 5 mile, Sunday 15th May 2016

Great running today at the annual Terenure 5 mile road race by Peter Brandon, the sole Senior representative and the Fit4Life crew Ana, Alessandra, Billy, Clare, Jackie, Louise and Vivienne.  What started off as an alleged flat course ended up being a very fast competitive route with a 1 mile sneaky drag at mile 4.   It was a hot morning resulting in some hot times being achieved, and we even had shirt swapping by the ladies in the back of a car whose owner will remain anonymous – as agreed with Billy.  We later made our way over to the reception area for refreshments and got the opportunity to say congrats to Peter Brandon who won the race with a time of 23.25, one second ahead of Mick Clohisey.
