Brilliant night at the Meath Sports Star Awards in the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim.Thanks to the Meath Chronicle & Cusack hotel group for putting on a super night.Gordon Elliott, race horse trainer won the overall outstanding Achievement Award with Gary Rogers goalkeeper for Dundalk winning the Meath Sports Person of the Year. He had won the FAI Cup & League Double with Dundalk in 2015. All the nominees were presented with lovely Glass Trophies,on the night.I hadn’t bargained with having to go up on stage & interviewed by the lovely,Evanne Ni Chuilinn,from RTE.thanks to my fellow club members for their support on the night,Emilia, Christi, Tommy & Chris & well done to Sarah Tracy on her award also which was picked up by Tommy on the night.
