Easter Sunday: Fit4Life at Fr. Murphy 10k in Kildalkey
Fit for Life members kept themselves very busy over the Easter period. On Easter Sunday Angela Egan, Lyndon Thomas, Pat and Emily Ryan took part in the Fr. Murphy 10k in Kildalkey. Great success here for Angela who came 2nd in her category and also won a gold medal in the Meath championships.
It was a good day for Dunboyne, as you know. Rory Kavanagh took second overall and Meath 10 K championship gold medal. Angela ran a very good time in windy conditions and fully deserved the prize. Congratulations Angela! Strong field for an Easter race and very competitive in all categories today so medals were not easy to come by.
Emily was taking it easy after a heavy strength training session a few days ago but still ran very well.
Pat ran faster than his silver medal winning time last year but unfortunately was beaten to the medals in our category today.
Lyndon did a superb run and really enjoyed it.
Well done everyone!!!
