The bank holiday weekend was a very busy one for Fit for Life members. Angela agan and Lyndon Thomas ran a 5k in Tallaght and in true style Angela was placed 1st in her category. By all accounts this was a very enjoyable club race.
On Monday Peter Geraghty and Dan and Michelle Higgins took part in the Royal Meath 5k in Kells in fabulous weather conditions.
It’s great to see Dunboyne AC being represented in races around the country. It’s even more special when you get to do this in your own native county. 3 Fit for Life members were lucky enough to be able to do this on Sunday.
Joan Hodgins ran the Boyne 10k in Drogheda in fairly challenging weather conditions.
Kate Quirke and Geraldine Ryan faired a bit better with the weather in the West. Kate took part in the Great Limerick Run 10k and really enjoyed the experience and the support of the home crowd.
Meanwhile Geraldine ran the West of Ireland Womens Mini Marathon in Castlebar.
It’s truly inspiring to see so many taking part and enjoying runs, be it local or further afield. Happy running!
