From Monday April 26th – return to Juvenile training

In line with the planned easing of Covid restrictions announced by the Government, we are very happy to announce the reopening of our track to Juveniles up to Under 18 from Monday 26th April and the recommencement of Juvenile/F4Y club training on Mondays & Wednesdays in pods of 15.

We will reopen club facilities to adult (O18) members as soon as government rules allow.

Training times for Juveniles/U18s will be as follows:

  • U9 & U10: Monday & Wednesday 6pm – 6.45pm
  • U11 to U13:  Monday & Wednesday 7pm – 7.45pm
  • U14 to U18:  Monday & Wednesday 8pm – 9pm

Anyone attending training at Dunboyne AC must be a current member of the club.

Juvenile members will be notified about training and the Covid-compliant training booking system via the Parent/Guardian Club training WhatsApp group.

Please email dacjuvenile@gmail.com if you are a parent/guardian who requires access to this group.

Any club member returning to the track must follow all current Covid practices including all current travel and quarantine restrictions

If you feel unwell or have been in close contact with a Confirmed/suspected Covid case, do not come to the track.

Anything you bring to the track (equipment, water bottle, tracksuit etc.) must be taken away by you when training finishes.

Hand sanitise on entering the track and again as you leave.

To ensure that everyone can attend and train safely and to comply with Covid Health requirements, we require that each time you plan to attend the club you must review the Covid Health Screening questionnaire questions which have been emailed to club members and are also on the training session booking sheet.

The Clubhouse remains closed to all members and there is no access to toilet facilities.

  • Hand-sanitise before and after training. A Hand Sanitiser dispenser has been installed inside the gate.
  • Attendees must clean any equipment they use both before and after use.
  • Do not leave any rubbish or possessions (e.g. water bottles) behind. As there are no bins provided, please dispose of any materials through your home rubbish disposal.
  • If an attendee becomes unwell after training/attending the club, they should first contact their GP/HSE and then inform the club.
  • Remember, if you are not 100% comfortable, do not attend the track.

Finally, many thanks to all the Juvenile and F4Y coaches and volunteers for their help and effort with the resumption of underage training, we look forward to this being the first phase of the reopening of the track to all our members.

Yours in Sport,
Phelim Glynn
Chairman
Dunboyne AC
