Garda BHAA Cross Country, Magazine Fort, Phoenix Park, Saturday 6th February 2016

Well done to Emily Ryan, Kevin Deery and Phelim Glynn for their Cross Country exploits at last weekend’s Garda BHAA at the Magazine Fort.  I think we can safely assume that this one wasn’t flat!  The ladies race was 2 miles and Emily made light work of it in 15.36.  Kevin Deery had a super race over the men’s 4 mile distance to finish in 25.58, 11^th in his age category.  Phelim Glynn was also out for his business house placing 8^th in his category in a time of 26.20.  Just a light warm up act for Phelim, who was saving his best for his Ras na hEireann outing the following day when he and the young bucks took home the winners’ trophy.  Well done all.
