The Club had a couple of wins and plenty of strong performances at the local Le Cheile 5k road race held in Leixlip on Saturday.

Peter Brandon topped the podium, Stephen was out to break 18, ably assisted by Alan who was out for a blow out (and the legendary Le Cheile home baking) along with Kevin and Mick ahead of targeting the fast Bob Heffernan 5k in Enfield on Tuesday week.

We had hoped to claim Geoff as he’s on the comeback trail and making ground fast but he has moved on to better things in the Fit4Life group. This is a blow to the Senior ego but we will learn from this experience and make a conscious effort to tone down our “peskiness.”
