Former Irish Hammer champion and current U.S. Olympic coach Paddy McGrath flew home for the weekend to give a hammer masterclass to the national squad.
Dunboyne AC hosted this event and the guests were suitably impressed with the clubs facilities as they spent two long days working hard under Paddy’s tutelage.
The squad were lucky with the weather, throwing for most of the two days, with video analysis providing a welcome break between sessions.
Paddy spoke at the end of the two days about the very high standard of the athletes and urged them to keep working hard to realise their ambitions.
