** Inter club Athletics Mini League in Tara AC Sunday Jan 29th @ 12:00 **

Dear Parents,

The annual U/9 – U/12 Inter club Athletics Mini League between Dunboyne AC, Tara AC, Ratoath AC and Dunshaughlin AC will take place on Sunday the 29th of January 2017 at Tara AC grounds at Ross Cross. Events will start at 12 midday sharp so we should meet there at 11.40 to warm up etc.

Directions: Take the old N3 road from Dunshaughlin heading for Navan, after 8km take turn off for Skyrne and club is 200m further on that road past Post Office.

This is a friendly competition where emphasis is on Club not individual so there is no pressure on athletes, an ideal environment for younger athletes. When we hosted the meet, other clubs supported this event in large number so we encourage our youngsters to attend. All under 9, under 10, under 11 and under 12 will have 60m sprint, long jump and turbo jav. Under 9 athletes also run a 300m race, under 10, 500m while under 11 and under run 600m. Please make an effort to attend; events normally finish by 2pm.
