Kilbride GAA club held their annual road race on Tuesday night and we’d a significant turn out from Dunboyne AC with 12 runners. The event is held over one or two loops of a 5km route, which is very flat and suitable for running fast times.
In the 10k the Senior’s had five runners in action and Fit4life four runners.
Peter Somba travelled to the far side of the parish to pick up another win in a comfortable 34:47.
Ray and Paul renewed their 10km duel, this time only 5 seconds separated them over the course.
Geoff marked a significant recent birthday with a time to match!
Eddie Reid ran one of two races that are now run around the roads that are most familiar to him, the other being the Clonee 10k – we hope to see him running there too next week.
Fit4Life runners had 3 ladies and Rob (a gentleman)
