Well done to Dunboyne AC club member Niall Cornyn who smashed his PB at the National Senior 10k in Santry Stadium on Saturday coming in at a time of 31:27. Niall finished 15th out of a strong field of 32. It was a joy to watch Niall sail around Santry in his blue and white Dunboyne singlet amongst such competition.

The race was won by Clonmel’s finest, Seán Tobin. Having been pipped at the post last week in the 1,500m, Seán made no mistake of it tonight, finishing as national 10k champion in 29:35.
