Seniors and Fit4Life lay a claim on Paul Gorey, we’re likely to see him doing either, or indeed both sessions on any Tuesday or Thursday, and he can be seen giving the sessions on occasion too!
Paul made his way to Waterford City on Saturday morning for Waterford AC’s rescheduled Half Marathon. The original race was due to take place on December 5th however it was cancelled due to bad weather. The weather wasn’t much better in the lead in to Saturday’s race however it cleared well on Saturday and conditions were almost ideal for running.
Paul’s preparations must’ve been optimal as well; he ran a strong race ticking over at sub 8 pace to finish in a time of 1:44:33.
Well done Paul, great start to the New Year.
